Hi, I'm trying to get 12Gb out of my 3x4Gb Corsair Vengeance ram sticks.
When I put two of them in different channels, I get 8Gb of ram.
If I put them in the same channel I get 8Gb but only 4Gb usable
If I put two in the same channel and one alone in another I get 12Gb but only 8Gb usable...
I currently have a MSi z170a gaming m5 motherboard, and I installed my ram in
slots 1 and 3. Now, when i read the manual later, (Cause im dumb and forgot to read about the
slots before hand) i noticed that i should have put a stick in dimm2 first, and the model showed the sticks in 1 and 2. Now...
